About the artist

Amy Fitzsimons (1971) lives and works in MN

I currently create film collages, paper collages, paintings and color pencil illustrations. This site is a closer look at these works and a link to purchase canvas and paper prints of my favorite pieces. Please contact me for more information, questions or requests.

Amy Fitzsimons is known for her film collages. She graduated from Al Collins Graphic Design School in 1992 with an Associate Arts Degree in Commercial Art in Tempe, AZ. She soon began her professional artist career as a production artist in Minneapolis. The materials for her film collages presented themselves to Amy in this position. She began saving and began creating this moody, light sensitive, abstract collage series.
